The Nvidia CMP 170HX runs on NVIDIA's GA100-105F GPU, a version based on the regular GA100 SXM design used in data-center applications, and has its full memory bandwidth of 1500 GB/s to prevent the GPU from being used for general computing, Nvidia further restricted its VRAM size to 8 GiB, limited its PCIe bandwidth to PCIe 1.0 x4 at 1 GB/s.
